Such as lighting and the use of electronic devices, by harnessing solar energy. Since the school\u2019s operating hours coincide with daylight hours, the generated energy can be used directly (self-consumed). It significantly reduces electricity costs. The saved funds can then be allocated to support other educational programs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reducing Emissions and Supporting Sustainability<br><\/strong>As a renewable energy technology, solar panels do not produce greenhouse gas emissions. Thus helping the school reduce its impact on climate change. Additionally, their implementation provides a tangible example to students of the importance of environmental protection and the use of eco-friendly technology for sustainability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Practical Education for Students<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>The installation of solar panels creates an opportunity for hands-on learning for students. They can understand how solar panels work and explore concepts like energy conversion, the law of conservation of energy, and environmentally friendly technology principles. In subjects like physics and environmental science, solar panels serve as a relevant educational tool, linking theory with real-world practice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Raising Awareness Among the Younger Generation<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>By observing the use of clean energy technology at school, students not only learn academically but also grasp the importance of their role in preserving the Earth\u2019s sustainability. This system is designed to harness solar energy as the primary source of electricity during school hours. The installation process was carried out by a certified professional team. This ensures that each stage was performed according to safety and quality standards. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.btienergy.id\/karir\/\">BTI Energy<\/a>, as the primary partner in this project, played a crucial role in planning and implementing the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Want to know what an On-Grid Solar Power System (PLTS) is? Click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sunergi.co.id\/id\/sistem-on-grid\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first phase involved a site survey to determine the optimal orientation and positioning of the panels. This step aimed to maximize sunlight absorption throughout the day. Once the system design was approved, the solar panels were installed on the school\u2019s roof using sturdy and durable support structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next, the panels were connected to an inverter, a device that converts DC (direct current) electricity into AC (alternating current) for the electrical needs. The system was then integrated with the PLN (State Electricity Company) grid, enabling efficient energy use.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With a capacity of 10 kWp, the PLTS can generate enough energy to meet the school\u2019s primary electricity needs, such as lighting, air conditioning, and electronic devices. The on-grid technology also allows the school to use the PLN network as a backup in case of energy shortfalls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through this installation, <strong>BTI Energy<\/strong> not only helped SMP Negeri 1 Ubud significantly reduce operational electricity costs but also encouraged the use of green energy, contributing to the reduction of carbon emissions.
